If you had one Narcissist in your life, you know that you really do not want to have another one ever again! Sadly they tend to reappear, I have had two already and really hope for no more! When you are in love it is so easy to see things through rose coloured glasses and we all want our “new one” to turn into “the one”. If you are out dating again, well done! I hope your heart has healed and that you are ready to find happiness, intimacy, and love. I do not want to be negative but we are all creatures of habit and sometimes we repeat old patterns so here is a checklist to guide you on your dating journey and to help you to know that your new love is not a narcissist.

1. They are not super active on social media. Be cautious with people who post multiple selfies a day and stories about themselves doing mundane things. Maybe I am old, but really people, no one cares about all the details of your life. Unless they have to be super active on social media for work, be careful with someone who is always posting about themselves, their material possessions, and their accolades. In addition, if you discover that your new love has fake social media accounts or uses social media to stalk others, this is a bright red flag!
