This Is What The Narcissist Really Thinks Of Their Victims…

The mind of the narcissist is…… atypical. At times, they seem truly bizarre and trying to figure them out will make your head spin and spin and spin! Narcissists do not reason, think, feel, or act like healthy people. These differences cause the narcissist to have a tremendous amount of difficulty and conflicts in their interpersonal relationships; they wreak havoc in the lives of just about anyone who attempts to establish a relationship with them. After the dust settles so many victims find themselves asking what was this? What did they really think about me? What did they feel for me? Did they ever care?

Now just like with everything, narcissism is a spectrum and there can be some unusual presentations and exceptions to the rules. The below list is a compilation of what research would support a narcissist thinking about their victims and also information that I have learned from seeing clients in therapy and from my own relationships with narcissists.

They think you are naive. Sometimes the narcissist appreciates your nativity because it helps them to pull the wool over your eyes. Other times this enrages them. They will manipulate you into believing that your trustworthiness and your efforts to see the good in humanity somehow provoked them to lie, cheat, steal and misbehave.
