What is a Healthy Narcissist? Here are six ways they differ from unhealthy narcissists
When we think of narcissism, we often think of individuals who are self-absorbed, lack empathy and have a sense of entitlement. However, not all narcissists are unhealthy or problematic. In fact, some individuals possess healthy narcissism traits, which can benefit their personal and professional lives.
A healthy narcissist is an individual who has a sense of self-worth and self-confidence and can empathize with others and form healthy relationships. They possess a sense of self-awareness and are able to balance their needs with the needs of others.
Here are six ways in which healthy narcissists differ from unhealthy narcissists:
- Empathy: Healthy narcissists are able to understand and share the feelings of others. They possess empathy, which allows them to form healthy relationships and connect with others. On the other hand, unhealthy narcissists lack empathy and often exploit others for their own gain.
- Self-awareness: Healthy narcissists have a sense of self-awareness and are able to understand their own strengths and weaknesses.
